Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining returns with record 188 restaurants

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining, presented by Orlando Health, is set to return for its 21st year, featuring a record-breaking 188 participating restaurants. The event will run from 14 August to 30 September, offering diners three-course, prix-fixe menus priced at $40 or $60, plus tax and gratuity. This year, 38 new restaurants join the line-up, including 16 establishments recognised by the MICHELIN Guide.

Among the new additions is OMO by Jônt, a Michelin-starred restaurant offering a $60 menu. Other highlights include dining options at the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel and a jazz club with live music. The programme encourages early reservations, with menus available on OrlandoMagicalDining.com.

Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, emphasised the programme's impact: “What makes this programme so special is that everyone benefits. Diners can enjoy exceptional meals at a great value, local restaurants welcome new and returning customers, and every meal helps support nonprofits that are making a difference in Central Florida.”

This year, the primary charity beneficiary is OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability), which supports individuals with autism and developmental differences. For each $40 meal, $1 is donated, and $2 for each $60 meal. In addition, $3,000 donations will be awarded to local nonprofits in each of Orange County's six commission districts.

Orlando Health, the presenting sponsor, continues its partnership, promoting healthy travel and supporting local nonprofits. Erick Hawkins, CFO of Orlando Health, stated, “We're proud to continue partnering on this programme, which is helping our local nonprofits expand their reach and promoting a stronger, healthier Central Florida.”
