Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has launched its first new permanent ride since opening in 2018, the 'Kryptonite Collider'. This thrilling attraction invites guests to experience Lex Luthor's Everyman Project, a centrifuge-style ride that simulates unlocking superhuman abilities. The ride, located in the Metropolis section of the park, opened to the public on 26 July 2026.
The Kryptonite Collider places visitors in a detailed LexCorp laboratory, where they are briefed on Luthor's experiment using kryptonite, Superman's only weakness. Once aboard, the ride's powerful motion, dynamic visuals, and synchronised lighting create an exhilarating experience. As the ride concludes, interactive displays reveal each guest's newly acquired 'superpowers'.
Hind Galadari, General Manager of Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, stated, "Kryptonite Collider is a real milestone for Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, bringing one of DC's most iconic Super-Villains to life through an experience that places our guests at the heart of his story."
The ride's debut coincides with the DC Super Hero Season, running until 30 August, featuring live entertainment and character encounters. The park was recently honoured with the 2026 Liseberg Applause Award, recognising it as the Best Theme Park in the World, a first for a Middle Eastern attraction. Kryptonite Collider is included with park admission, offering guests a new way to engage with the DC universe
