Xianglu Robotics secures $43 million to scale AI chef solutions globally

Jiancheng Yang, announced that Xianglu Robotics has raised RMB 300 million (about USD 43.5 million) in a funding round.

Yang, the company's chief technology officer, pointed out how this round reflects strong recognition from state-owned capital for the industrial application of robotics technology. AI cooking robots are now transitioning from technical validation to large-scale commercialization.

As the first company globally to implement and scale AI-generated recipes, Xianglu has built a closed-loop technology chain—from real-world kitchen data to AI recipe generation and finally to robotic execution.

Multi-sectoral progress

Xianglu has achieved deep penetration across three key sectors: fast food, formal dining, and group catering.

The company’s newly built lean manufacturing facilities are challenging a peak capacity of 10,000 units per month, with production and delivery scaling rapidly.

Xianglu pioneered four major service systems, established 90 regional rapid-delivery warehouses across China. The company built a team of nearly 100 AI chef coaches, engineers, and trainers, backed by two intelligent production bases in South China and East China to ensure full-lifecycle support.

Expanding its global footprint, Xianglu has deployed equipment in dozens of countries, including the United States, Australia, France, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. Its digital Chinese recipe library now enables overseas restaurants to maintain consistent, high-quality culinary standards.
