British Airways launches Avios-Only flights to Europe

British Airways has unveiled its latest Avios-Only flights, exclusively available to members of The British Airways Club, with routes from London City Airport to Madrid and Toulon/Saint Tropez. These flights, scheduled for the late May bank holiday and June, allow customers to book every seat using Avios, starting at just ยฃ2 plus 21,500 Avios for Toulon and ยฃ2 plus 28,000 Avios for Madrid.

The initiative marks the airline's 50th Avios-Only service since the programme's inception in 2023. Adam Daniels, CEO of IAG Loyalty, highlighted the initiative's role in enhancing customer loyalty and redemption opportunities during peak summer months.

Customers can use Companion Vouchers from their British Airways American Express Credit Card for an additional seat at no extra Avios cost, covering only taxes and charges. Alongside these dedicated flights, British Airways continues to offer Reward Seats on all routes, with a minimum number guaranteed on flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, and London City.
