Rosewood Luang Prabang launches Cooking Atelier

Rosewood Luang Prabang has unveiled the Cooking Atelier, an immersive culinary experience designed to celebrate Laotian cuisine and support the development of future hospitality professionals. This initiative, launched on 1 May 2026, is a collaboration with the Luang Prabang Hospitality Training Centre, reflecting the resort's commitment to community engagement and sustainable development.

The Cooking Atelier is hosted at the Training Centre's Cooking Studio, where guests can explore authentic Laotian flavours through hands-on classes led by Rosewood chefs. Participants will use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to prepare traditional dishes and enjoy a self-prepared three-course meal, complete with dessert and wine. The programme also includes a recipe booklet and a keepsake.

In addition to offering a unique culinary experience, the Cooking Atelier contributes to local education by donating $10 (US$10) from each participant to the Hospitality Training Centre. This support aims to nurture future talent within Laos' growing tourism industry.

Classes are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a duration of three hours. Group sessions start at $102 (US$102) per person, whilst private classes are available for $250 (US$250) per couple, with flexible scheduling.

Rosewood Luang Prabang's Cooking Atelier not only enriches guest experiences but also strengthens cultural and community ties in one of Southeast Asia's most enchanting destinations
