Delta Air Lines is set to introduce its next generation Delta One suite on the Airbus A350-1000, following a two-year design process informed by a decade of customer feedback. The A350-1000, Delta's largest aircraft, will debut in early 2027 with a 50% premium seat mix. Additionally, Delta will upgrade its Airbus A330-200/300 fleet with suites featuring privacy doors, marking a first for these aircraft.
The upgrades are part of a significant investment exceeding $1 billion, aimed at enhancing the passenger experience across Delta's fleet. Mauricio Parise, vice president of Brand Experience, emphasised the importance of creating a familiar and comfortable environment for passengers, stating, “Every time a customer boards a Delta flight, the experience and surroundings should feel familiar — creating a sense of home and comfort when you’re away.”
The new Delta One suites will feature a 3+ inch longer flat-bed, memory foam cushions, and a 24-inch cinema-quality screen with Bluetooth connectivity. A dedicated refreshment station will also be available for Delta One customers, allowing them to enjoy snacks at their convenience.
Delta's commitment to accessibility is evident with new tactile seat controls and accessible lavatories on both the A350-1000 and A330-200/300 fleets. The airline plans to have 90% of Delta One seats equipped with suites by 2030, maintaining its lead in offering the most business class suites of any US airline
