Dusit International, a leading Thai hotel and property development company, has announced the expansion of its ASAI Hotels brand with two new properties in Southern Thailand.

The hotels, ASAI Hat Yai and ASAI Patong Phuket, are scheduled to open in 2028 and 2029, respectively, and aim to cater to experience-driven travellers seeking authentic local connections.

The ASAI Hotels brand, known for its compact, intelligently designed rooms and vibrant communal spaces, will bring its unique blend of thoughtful design and neighbourhood experiences to these dynamic destinations. "Today's travellers are increasingly looking beyond traditional hotel stays," said Chanin Donavanik, Group CEO of Dusit International. "ASAI Hotels was created with these evolving expectations in mind."

ASAI Hat Yai will be located on Samchai Road in the heart of Hat Yai's city centre, a key commercial and tourism hub. The hotel will feature 116 guestrooms, catering to solo travellers, couples, and families. Facilities will include a dining restaurant, café, bar, coworking spaces, meeting facilities, and a fitness centre.

ASAI Patong Phuket, situated near Patong Beach, will offer approximately 85 rooms, a lively café, a rooftop swimming pool, and fitness facilities. The hotel aims to reflect Patong's dynamic blend of beach culture and local entertainment.

The expansion of ASAI Hotels is part of Dusit International's strategy to grow its lifestyle brand in destinations where culture, community, and discovery converge. The brand is also set to expand internationally, with openings planned in Malaysia and the Philippines in the coming years
