Emirates SkyCargo unveils AI Tech for AI infrastructure

Emirates SkyCargo has launched AI Tech, a specialised logistics service for transporting critical AI infrastructure. The service addresses the growing complexity of moving high-value equipment, including AI server racks and semiconductors, as businesses worldwide accelerate their adoption of AI technologies.

AI Tech offers globally standardised procedures, priority loading and specialised handling. Customers can track airport-to-airport shipments through milestone updates monitored by Emirates SkyCargo's command centre in Dubai. The team also provides proactive communication and coordination throughout each shipment to support secure, timely delivery.

"Behind every AI breakthrough is physical infrastructure that needs to arrive safely and on time. AI Tech is designed to give customers confidence that their critical equipment will move seamlessly across our network," said Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo.

Emirates SkyCargo transported more than 700 tonnes of AI infrastructure in July alone, reflecting growing demand for specialised logistics. AI Tech is available across the airline's global network and covers most types of AI-related cargo.

The airline also plans to expand its fleet to 23 dedicated freighters by March 2027, increasing its capacity to transport large and heavy AI equipment.

The launch of AI Tech reflects Emirates SkyCargo's efforts to meet the evolving logistics needs of the AI sector through speed, reliability and specialised handling.
