flydubai resumes flights between Dubai and Skopje

flydubai will resume flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Skopje International Airport (SKP) on 1 April 2027. The service will restore a direct link between Dubai and North Macedonia's capital, expanding the airline's European network to 34 destinations.

The airline will operate three flights a week, offering Business and Economy Class. In addition, passengers can connect to hundreds of destinations through flydubai's codeshare partnership with Emirates, with Dubai serving as a transit hub.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, highlighted the importance of connectivity to Dubai's position as a global aviation hub. He said: “Connectivity is a key part of Dubai’s success as a global aviation hub.”

Meanwhile, Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, said Europe remains an important market for the airline. He added that the resumed Skopje service would give travellers more choice and flexibility, particularly the Macedonian diaspora in Australia and Asia.

Flights will depart from Terminal 3 at DXB. Return Business Class fares from Skopje start at $3,200 (EUR 3,000), while Economy Class Lite fares begin at $620 (EUR 580). From Dubai, Business Class fares start at $3,400 (AED 12,500), with Economy Class Lite fares from $760 (AED 2,800).

The renewed connection will strengthen travel links between Dubai and North Macedonia. It will also provide easier access to the country's cultural and natural attractions, supporting opportunities for tourism and trade.
