Hawaiian Airlines has officially joined the oneworld alliance, becoming the third US-based carrier in the group alongside Alaska Airlines and American Airlines. This addition strengthens oneworld's network across the Pacific, with Hawaiian Airlines adding Honolulu as a global hub. The move promises expanded travel opportunities across the Hawaiian Islands and new destinations in the Pacific, such as Hilo, Rarotonga, Pago Pago, and Papeete.

Ole Orvér, CEO of oneworld, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are delighted to officially welcome Hawaiian Airlines into the oneworld family, further strengthening our alliance's footprint in the Pacific region and the United States." Hawaiian Airlines, known for its award-winning service, is expected to enhance connectivity and offer a more rewarding travel experience for oneworld customers.

Hawaiian Airlines CEO Diana Birkett Rakow highlighted the benefits for passengers, including Atmos Rewards loyalty members and Hawaii residents. "oneworld brings significant global travel benefits to our guests," she said, emphasising the airline's commitment to sharing Hawaiian hospitality and culture with visitors.

With this alliance, Hawaiian Airlines' guests will gain access to nearly 1,000 global destinations and enjoy oneworld Priority benefits, such as First Class check-in, lounge access, and fast-track security lanes. The airline operates approximately 230 daily flights and connected over 11 million passengers in 2025, linking Hawaii with key destinations in Asia, North America, and the South Pacific.
