The Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) Canada has unveiled its "Ride to Korea" campaign in Toronto, featuring a giant LED lorry and a chance to win return flights to South Korea.
Running from 5 June to 10 July 2026, the campaign aims to bring the vibrant culture and travel appeal of South Korea directly to Canadians.
The centrepiece of the campaign is a state-of-the-art LED megalorry, branded under South Korea's global tourism banner "Imagine Your Korea". This mobile showcase will travel through Toronto's iconic neighbourhoods and high-traffic areas, including the CN Tower, Nathan Phillips Square, and the Distillery District, capturing the attention of passers-by.
The campaign is built around three pillars: Celebrate the Game, Chase the Lorry, and Discover Korea. It combines street engagement with an interactive digital experience, with local content creators tracking the lorry's journey in real-time and sharing exclusive content on social media.
To enter the sweepstakes for two return airline tickets to South Korea, participants must subscribe to the Imagine Your Korea YouTube channel, comment on a designated post, and submit their entry via a Google Form. Additionally, KTO Canada's Instagram account will host weekly contests, offering $100 gift cards.
A KTO Toronto representative stated, "The Ride to Korea campaign is more than just marketing—it's an open invitation for Canadians to experience a taste of Korea right here in their home city."
