LIKE MAGIC, a Swiss hospitality technology platform, has announced the integration of Häfele's Dialock Cloud access system into its platform, offering a streamlined digital guest journey.
This integration, already operational at Schani City Vienna, eliminates the need for on-site access servers, facilitating easier management for hotel groups and serviced-flat operators.
The collaboration between LIKE MAGIC and Häfele addresses the challenges of traditional access control systems, which often require local server hardware, adding complexity and cost. By enabling cloud-to-cloud communication, the new system allows properties to connect through software configuration, simplifying portfolio-wide rollouts.
Markus Feller, CEO of LIKE MAGIC, highlighted the significance of this integration, stating, "Many hotel groups today are looking for solutions that scale across locations and at the same time fit smoothly into the digital guest journey. That is exactly what we are enabling together with Häfele."
The system offers flexibility in guest access, allowing room unlocking via personal devices or issuing keycards through self-service kiosks. This reduces manual key handovers and administrative tasks for front-desk teams. Jean-Francois Pauly, Head of Project Solutions at Häfele, noted, "By connecting Dialock Cloud directly with LIKE MAGIC, we help operators digitalise their access management."
At Schani City Vienna, the integration has shown promising results, with 97.1% of guests completing pre-check-in digitally. The Häfele Dialock cloud integration is now available for hotel groups and hospitality brands aiming to standardise digital access management across multiple properties
