Norwegian Cruise Line® Unveils Exciting New Features for Norwegian Aqua™ and Norwegian Luna™

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a leader in global cruise travel, has announced thrilling new onboard experiences and expanded venues for its upcoming sister ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. These vessels, the first in the cutting-edge Prima Plus Class, are set to launch in April 2025 and 2026, respectively. Immersive Gaming and Entertainment Both ships will debut the Aqua and Luna Game Zone, an evolution of NCL’s popular Galaxy Pavilion and arcade venues. This new gaming experience will feature a wide range of activities, including virtual reality games like Space Racing and Beat Hero and retro arcade classics such as Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. Guests can also look forward to the Bull’s Eye Bar, an innovative venue offering interactive dart games and a full-service bar. This complimentary experience will include six different dart games with video-game-style graphics and automated scoring. The Tee Time mini golf area will return two and a half times larger than on previous ships, with 12 interactive holes spread across two decks. The Pickleball Court will also have its own dedicated space, separate from The Stadium. Elevated Spa and Fitness Offerings The Rockwell Group will redesign both ships’ Mandara Spa and Salon and Pulse Fitness Center to promote serenity and rejuvenation. New spa services will include a clay sauna, which will detoxify and exfoliate the skin, and IV drip therapy, which will provide hydration and essential nutrients to enhance energy and well-being. The Thermal Suite will feature twice as many heated loungers as previous ships, offering expansive ocean views. Guests can also enjoy returning favourites like the charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room, and flotation salt pool. The Pulse Fitness Center will boast state-of-the-art workout equipment, cardiovascular machines, and a dedicated spin studio. It will also offer a variety of workout classes, including yoga, mat Pilates, and cycling. Tropical Voyages and Itineraries Starting in April 2025, Norwegian Aqua will sail seven-day Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Fla., with stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas. The ship will also offer voyages to Bermuda from New York City and Eastern Caribbean itineraries from Miami. Norwegian Luna will begin its inaugural Caribbean season in April 2026, sailing from Miami with itineraries to Roatan Island, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize. MSC Cruises is thrilled to announce the expansion of its GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS entertainment program across its entire fleet. This exciting program, which has been a hit among guests, is now available on 12 ships and is expected to be rolled out to all MSC Cruises ships within the next year. A Record-Breaking Experience at Sea Thrill-seekers looking to get their name in the record books will have more opportunities than ever. The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS game show and quizzes will also be available on MSC Cruises’ newest World Class ship, MSC World America, when she sets sail from Miami in April 2025. Guests have had the chance to break official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS through a variety of activities since MSC Cruises introduced the entertainment program on two of its ships, MSC Seascape and MSC World Europa, in March of last year. World branded aircraft, taking guests’ pre-theme park experience to new heights. The first-ever Warner Bros. World™ branded aircraft was unveiled to the public on July 25 at a spectacular launch event held at Warner Bros. World.
