中国开始识别入境外国旅客指纹
从今年起，中国将在入境口岸逐步实施对外国人留取指纹等生物识别信息的措施。这一在国际上逐渐通行的做法，主要目的是防止伪造和冒用证件。 据公安部发布的公告，2017年，中国边检机关将分批在全国对外开放口岸对入境中国的14至70周岁外国人留存指纹，持外交护照或有对等互惠安排等情形的外国人可以免留指纹。至于是否留存除指纹外的其他生物识别信息，未再详细说明。 多个国家已经开始实行指纹鉴定，包括美国、日本和马来西亚。
