The Plaza, a Fairmont Hotel, and Lacoste have teamed up once again to celebrate New York City's tennis season with a unique collaboration running from 12 August to 6 September. This partnership brings a reimagined Afternoon Tea experience to The Palm Court, alongside immersive hotel installations and a Lacoste retail pop-up.
Le Café Lacoste returns to The Palm Court, offering guests a sophisticated Afternoon Tea menu crafted by Executive Chef Muhannad Al Ateem and Executive Pastry Chef Kevin Clemenceau. The menu features classic French flavours with playful nods to tennis, including the signature Café Lacoste Polo pastry.
Beyond the culinary experience, The Plaza's Fifth Avenue entrance is adorned in Lacoste's signature green, creating a striking visual for visitors. Inside, the hotel lobby features a tournament-inspired installation, whilst the historic Edwardian Room hosts an exclusive Lacoste retail pop-up. This pop-up showcases a curated collection of accessories and limited-edition pieces, including co-branded apparel.
Sam Ioannidis, Managing Director of The Plaza, expressed enthusiasm for the renewed collaboration, stating, "Last year's partnership was a grand slam, and we’re thrilled to build on that success this season. The Plaza and Lacoste share a passion for timeless style, craftsmanship, and creating memorable experiences."
Guests can enjoy the Afternoon Tea from 11am to 4pm, with reservations available via OpenTable. Whether indulging in the tea, shopping the exclusive collection, or simply admiring the hotel's transformation, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the excitement of the tennis season
