Wyndham opens first hotel in Frankfurt

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched its first namesake hotel in Frankfurt, Germany, with the opening of the Wyndham Frankfurt Niederrad. This 146-room upscale establishment marks the brand's entry into Germany's financial capital, further solidifying Wyndham's presence in one of Europe's key travel and business markets.

The new hotel, located in the Lyoner Quartier in Niederrad, offers convenient access to Frankfurt Airport and the city centre, both approximately 8 km away. It is strategically positioned near Deutsche Bank Park, the DFB Campus, and the headquarters of the German Football Association, making it an attractive option for both business and leisure travellers.

Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, emphasised the significance of this expansion, stating, "With Wyndham Frankfurt Niederrad, we are bringing our namesake Wyndham brand to this city for the first time and expanding our presence in the country alongside a strong new franchise partner."

The hotel features a contemporary design with a central atrium and a suspended light installation. It offers a range of room configurations, including suites and an accessible room. Dining options include a restaurant serving local cuisine, a bar, and an outdoor terrace. For business needs, the hotel provides three meeting rooms, including a 159-square-metre event space, and a dedicated fitness area.

Raj Reddy, Managing Director of Windmill Niederrad GmbH, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting Wyndham's "trusted reputation for quality and international reach."

Wyndham Frankfurt Niederrad is part of Wyndham's strategy to grow its upscale portfolio across Europe, with the brand now spanning over 200 hotels across 16 countries on the continent.
