Emirates to hold its recruitment open day for cabin crew on 30th July at JW Marriott Hotel Macao

Ventive Hospitality and Marriott International Expand Partnership with 1548 rooms across 7 Hotels

Ventive Hospitality Limited along with its Promoter Group Companies, announced the expansion of their strategic partnership with Marriott International, by signing management contracts for seven luxury, upper upscale and upscale hotels comprising of 1,548 rooms across India and Sri Lanka. This partnership marks multiple brand debuts in key locations including Sri Lanka, Varanasi, Mundra, Pune, and Navi Mumbai. Further, Ventive Hospitality also announced its plans to develop a hotel on its existing leasehold land in Mundra, India. Of the seven hotels, three hotels are being developed by Ventive Hospitality and its subsidiaries – the Ritz-Carlton Reserve (73 villas along with 80 branded residences[1] for sale) at Pottuvil, near Yala East National Park in Sri Lanka; Varanasi Marriott Hotel (161 rooms) at Varanasi, India and Courtyard by Marriott (200 rooms) at Mundra, India. The remaining four hotels – the proposed JW Marriott Navi Mumbai (450 rooms), Moxy Navi Mumbai (200 rooms), Moxy Pune Wakad (264 rooms) and Moxy Pune Kharadi (200 rooms), are being developed by the Promoter Group companies on Right Of First Offer (ROFO) or alternative structure basis for the Ventive Hospitality and will be transferred to the Company under a suitable arrangement that maximizes value for all stakeholders equitably. Marriott International to debut AC Hotels in the Gold Coast

Marriott International, Inc. has signed an agreement with KS Hotels & Resorts to introduce AC Hotels to the Gold Coast. Following an extensive makeover and bold repositioning, with a full hotel renovation slated to commence later this year, the property is expected to open in mid-2026. It will be the first AC Hotel in Queensland, and the second AC Hotel in Australia alongside AC Hotel Melbourne Southbank. “Marriott International celebrated a record-breaking year in 2024 with an outstanding number of signings in Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC), underscoring the region’s immense growth potential. Marriott International appoints Rhiannon Callaghan as Multi-Property Director of Marketing & PR

Marriott International has appointed Rhiannon Callaghan as Multi-Property Director of Marketing & PR for Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Dubai, Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek. A dynamic hospitality marketing professional, Rhiannon brings with her a strong record of success in driving brand performance, digital strategy and guest engagement across the luxury hospitality sector. In her new role, Rhiannon will be responsible for the full spectrum of marketing and communications activity across all three properties. Her focus will include driving integrated campaigns, strengthening brand positioning, expanding digital reach and leading high-impact PR and partnership strategies. Her appointment comes as Marriott continues to invest in creative leadership to reinforce its competitive edge in the UAE’s hospitality market. Previously, Rhiannon was the Marketing & Communications Manager at W Muscat, where she played a pivotal role in transforming the hotel’s market presence. New Regional Collection Brand ‘Series by Marriott’ launched

Marriott International Announces Global Launch of New Regional Collection Brand: Series by Marriott™ in a strategic deal with Concept Hospitality   Marriott International announced the global launch of its new collection brand for the midscale and upscale lodging segments—Series by Marriott™—as the company continues to expand its lodging offerings around the world. Series by Marriott is expected to expand Marriott’s global presence by bringing well-established regionally created brands and hotels that champion consistent quality and service into the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. Series by Marriott will offer guests comfortable stays in more places and provide regional owners access to the benefits of Marriott’s platforms, including the company’s award-winning Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, all while maintaining their portfolio’s independent identity. Series by Marriott marks its initial launch through a founding deal with Concept Hospitality Private Limited (CHPL) in India, a key growth market for Marriott. Established in 1996 by Param Kannampilly, CHPL, is one of India’s leading hotel management companies with a portfolio of six brands and over 100 hotels operating in 90 locations. Under the strategic agreement between CHPL and Marriott, CHPL's flagship brands—The Fern, The Fern Residency, and The Fern Habitat—will affiliate with Series by Marriott on an exclusive basis across India and Marriott will make a small equity investment in CHPL. The Fern portfolio is currently comprised of 84 open properties and 31 executed pipeline deals, totaling 115 properties and approximately 8,000 rooms. Fern properties are expected to join Marriott’s portfolio in India over time following discussions with the third-party hotel owners and execution of long-term franchise agreements with those owners.
