Thailand’s travel industry has been experiencing a continuous evolution amidst travellers looking for new experiences, better services, and more seamless ways to explore the country. With this shift, businesses in the sector are driven to respond by implementing new ways to live up to changing traveller expectations and a fast-moving market.
The Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2026 - Thailand, presented by Travel Daily Media, recognised the organisations that are exerting such efforts to help move the industry forward.
The outstanding travel and tourism leaders who have been making a difference in the industry were celebrated at the awards ceremony held on 14 October 2026 at Conrad Bangkok. This year’s awardees stood out for their work, including creating better guest experiences, strengthening operations, developing new offerings, and responding to changing market needs.
Beyond recognising strong business performance, also highlighted at the event was the importance of understanding what travellers want and adapting to a changing industry.
This year’s winners underwent thorough evaluation from experts equipped with extensive experiences in hotel asset management, tourism, strategy, and business transformation. The panel of judges included Jon Cannon, Senior Vice President – Hotel Asset Management, Thailand and Vietnam, JLL; Eric Levy, Managing Director, Tourism Solutions International; and Kulit Kiartsritara, Principal, Roland Berger.
